About This Position

Develop, implement, & oversee the organization’s QA and testing strategy, aligning it with broader project & business goals. Establish quality standards, testing policies, & best practices, ensuring robust test coverage, including functional, regression, performance, & integration testing. Lead initiatives to improve QA processes, driving efficiency & accuracy in quality management, & implementing quality metrics to track performance & quality trends. Architect, design, & maintain scalable automation frameworks that support rapid, continuous integration & continuous deployment pipelines. Evaluate & select the best-in-class automation tools, frameworks, & techniques to improve test coverage, efficiency, & reliability. Oversee the development & maintenance of reusable test scripts, ensuring a structured & organized approach to test automation & reducing manual efforts. Lead the planning & execution of comprehensive testing processes, including automated & manual tests, to ensure high-quality, defect-free releases. Design test plans & test cases for complex features & applications, coordinating test execution to validate product functionality & performance. Track & prioritize defects, collaborate with development teams on resolution, & ensure root cause analysis is performed for major issues to prevent recurrence. Conduct regular performance reviews, setting goals & development plans to foster growth & support career advancement for team members. Promote a collaborative & innovation-driven team environment, empowering team members to proactively identify & resolve testing and quality challenges. Collaborate with product managers, developers, DevOps, & other teams to understand requirements, define acceptance criteria, & set quality expectations. Actively participate in design and planning sessions to provide QA perspectives, ensuring quality considerations & integrated into all phases of development. Serve as the primary QA point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on quality metrics, test results, & ongoing QA initiatives. Identify & manage risks related to quality and testing, implementing preventive strategies & mitigating any potential impacts to project timelines. Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, leveraging data-driven insights & quality metrics to optimize testing efficiency & effectiveness. Champion defect prevention practices, including test-driven development & behavior-driven development, fostering an approach that reduces defects early in the SDLC. Define, monitor, & report on key quality metrics (such as defect density, pass rate, & automation coverage), providing transparency into QA effectiveness. Generate & present QA dashboards & reports to leadership, highlighting key quality insights, risks, & recommendations for improvement. Use metrics & analysis to make data-driven decisions on resource allocation, process improvements, & prioritization of testing efforts. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends, tools, & technologies in software testing & automation, advocating for relevant innovations in QA practices. Identify & recommend process improvements, new automation frameworks, or methodologies to improve the speed & reliability of testing. Ensure all QA processes comply with relevant regulatory & industry standards. Oversee the creation & maintenance of detailed documentation for test plans, test cases, & automation frameworks to facilitate knowledge sharing & compliance. Organize training sessions, documentation updates, & cross-team collaboration to ensure alignment on QA methodologies & quality standards.
