About the Position
Oracle Applications Developer
Description
This experienced Oracle Applications Developer position is responsible for maintenance and support of R12.X Oracle Applications production environment through providing technical and basic functional support. As part of the Application Support / Development team, this role provides enhancing various existing customizations, building new customizations, unit testing, migrating to higher environments, fixing production issues / bugs and supporting production deployments. Enhancing / Building customizations includes, but not limited to, working with Form Builder, Report Builder, Interfaces (SQL and PL/SQL), BI Publisher, Shell Scripts, Workflow Builder and OAF Customizations. This role also requires co-ordinating with Business Analysts regularly to help design/develop/test/migrate the technical solutions as per the agreed timelines.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree/ Master’s in computer science or related technical field (or equivalent experience) preferred (BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA)
Responsibilities
Should have 8 to 12 years of experience as a Oracle Applications Developer including handling customizations / extensions in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Workflow, Oracle BI Publisher and Oracle Applications Framework (OAF).
Good knowledge on Oracle Apps standards, Module Table Structure, Architecture, Application Development.
Knowledge on Oracle Supply Chain, Distribution and Manufacturing modules (Purchasing, Inventory, Order Management, Bill of Materials and Engineering, Work In Process, Costing).
Experience with Performance optimization of PL/SQL packages and SQL tuning Competent in Report development / Forms Development and Interfaces
Thorough understanding of at least one of the R12 versions (Oracle EBS 12.2.9 or Oracle EBS 12.1.3 or Oracle R12.2.6). Knowledge of other on-premise versions like 11.5.10.2 will be an advantage
Should be capable of handling various tasks in Techno-functional role (70-80% Technical and 30-20% Functional) mandated in Production Support / Enhancements Projects. Must be capable of understanding business requirements and proposing technical solutions after performing due diligence.
Be highly flexible, adaptable to work with geographically diverse team members. Should be independent, proactive, result oriented and self-driven.
